This amazingly detailed piece is an antique carved rosewood Japanese foo dog protecting its young. This carving features glass eyes and potentially bone teeth, and dates back to the late 1800’s or early 1900’s. The piece appears to have been repaired on the bottom but otherwise in exceptionally good condition for its age. See photos for condition and dimensions.
